The wine flowed. the conversation was engaging. the personalities were fascinating. I wished it wouldn't end. Ambassador Eaton was the consumate host, and I've witnessed some swanky events at the Lerner Manor... The crowd as really, really special; Rainforest Tribal Chiefs, U.S. Ex-Pats, Panamanian Artists, Educators, Businesspersons... My portrait of Thomas Jefferson is still hanging with the Ambassador, but now he's on extended sleep-over at his home in the States.
