Air Pulp Cutie
This oil painting was done in response to the lecture series by Vin Di Fate, in the master's program at the University of Hartford. Di Fate assigned a reaction piece to his two weeks of lectures on the Great American Pulp magazine and it's genres. Air Pulp Cutie is an attempt to capture the rough and tumble era before WW2 and the fascination with flight, detectives and guns... a little nod to Terry and the Pirates.
